Description This top plate is correct for all Beosystem 5000 and 5500 products, and will also fit the following Bang & Olufsen models: Beocord 5000 Beocord 5500 Beocord 6500 Beocord 7000 Beogram 5000 Beogram 5005 Beogram 5500 Beogram 6500 Beogram 7000 Beogram 9000 Beogram CD50 Beogram CD5500 Beogram CD6500 Beogram CD7000 Beomaster 5000 Beomaster 5500 Beomaster 6500 Beomaster 7000 Finish: Lightly brushed silver anodized aluminium. This is the top plate only. Not a complete cover. The top plate comes readily fitted with high quality adhesive backing. Ready to fit. Photos in the gallery show the top plate fitted on to a smoked Beogram cover base DC-001 and a clear Beogram cover base DC-002 respectively. Mounting tip: The old top plate is drawn off. Remains of old tape and/or glue is removed (NEVER use acetone or similar strong solvent!). An assistant is called in to hold two creditcards vertically at the inside of the cutout in the cover base, one near each end, to give a nice and equal apprx 1-1½ mm wide gap inside along the front edge of the cutout. The new top plate is then placed at an angle of 45 degrees close up against the creditcards. Center the top plate sideways and, while holding it carefully and close up against the creditcards lay it down and press it down to secure it. See last photo. Note: The backing adhesive is VERY strong. When the backing paper is removed, you have only one go! It is therefore adviseable to practice a couple of times before removing the backing paper, to get a feel of the job. TP-001
